Sleep With One Eye Open And Do Not Speak Of It
"I am a male born into a female body. I wrap my breasts to hide my female form. I live in a hostile environment where nobody understands. I fear for my life."

Over the past 40 years I have developed a reputation for supplying unique works of art in a multitude of mediums and styles to both the private and corporate sectors with my artwork being exhibited at the local, national and international levels. I have worked and collaborated together with Architects, Art Consultants, Engineers and Art Committees on several corporate or public art commissions including Canada Post Corporation, Environment Canada, The Royal Tyrrell Museum, 4th Street Public Art Society, The City of Calgary, Bankers Hall, The Town of High and the Wensley Sporowski Architectural Group. Previous to my Fine Arts Career I worked as Art Director for the Calgary branch of Western Living Magazine as well as a freelance graphic artist. I was also employed part-time as an Art Instructor at Mount Royal University from 2010 to 2018. The main focus of my artwork is two dimensional paintings from smaller pieces to large scale murals. I also create sculptural pieces in steel, stainless steel, bronze, fiberglass and mixed media. The style of my artwork ranges from high realism through to expressive, folk and abstract, hence my motto “One Artist - Many Visions”. My newest series of artworks is entitled “Trans4mation” which portrays the trials and tribulations of gender identity and transformation.
